I currently build three styles of acoustic guitars, the Orchestra Model (OM), the Modified Dreadnaught (MD), and my smaller-bodied OO. My instruments are very dynamic and respond to the lightest touch. Primarily they are well suited towards finger style players, however I can work with whatever your playing style might be to optimize the performance of the instrument. Click the images below to see sketches and measurements of my standard models. Because I’m a custom builder I offer a range of options for scale lengths, nut width and string spacing at the bridge.
Every Kraut guitar is unique in its design. No rosette or inlay is ever reproduced and can be thoroughly discussed to match a suitable aesthetic for every individual. Any custom designs are welcome if there is a particular look you are trying to achieve.

A guitar is as much about the hands that build it as the hands that play it. A guitar is as much emotion as it is technique. Each of my guitars is crafted, chiseled and built only by my hands, for one client, for one purpose: to inspire. My guitars are different from anything you have experienced.
